I hope that everyone has been doing their homework and starting to get a better idea what crypto currencies are and how they might best be used in your particular situation and investment portfolio.
I realized that depending on where you live in the world and what Fiat currency you generally use will also have an impact on what digital currency is right for you. This is important because you will need to be able to easily buy and sell your digital currency and have the ability to convert it back to your Fiat currency readily. This is done through crypto currency exchanges.
I realized that some of the exchanges that I was looking at did not deal with Canadian dollars and were not able to deal with Canadian bank accounts. This might not be a factor for you if you plan to keep everything online and just move between different digital currencies. So I would suggest that before you start signing up for various online wallets check to see if it deals with your Fiat currency of choice and whether you can add a bank account from your country of choice for that Fiat currency to be sent.
I went with an exchange called “Kraken” which deals in Canadian dollars and will allow you to add a Canadian bank account for withdrawals and deposits. This exchange will pair up nicely with my online “Coinbase” account and will allow me the flexibility to move around my investments with the least amount of hassles.
Hopefully this is pointing everyone in the right direction. If you have any questions so far message me and I will be glad to help.
